Study Days

The South Pennine History Group and the societies behind it have run a study day nearly every year since 2007

These have always been very successful events, attracting a wide range of attendees from across Yorkshire and Lancashire. The next study day is expected to be in October 2024 and will be on the theme of textile manufacturing: Merchants and Manufacturers – the development of the woollen industry in the South Pennines 1780-1850.
